I came across this on Pam Tucker's blog and thought it looked like fun. Given that my whole life is about painting at the moment it seems like this is a good things to join in with. But I don't know how to load the button so that others can join in. So click here instead Paint Party Friday
So these two paintings are what I have been working on this week. I don't really like either one yet. If you go to my whole blog you can see what they looked like on Wednesday. The one on the left is very textured, the one on the right has none - very unusual for me. What will they look like next week! Looking forward to seeing your work. Rosie

Rosie, I love the one on the left. The texture combined with the jewel tones is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI understood what you mean by "not liking either yet".
ReplyDeleteI have the same thing with most of my drawing / painting. It's only after a few days after completion then all of a sudden I would fall in love head over heel with the work.
I'm pretty sure eventually you'll be in love with your current work.
Thank you for sharing. ;)
Those colours really speak to me - so lush and vibrant. So glad you joined the party :)
